My father states it has been a Swedish Mausér and it was sporterized and reduce down to á carbine. I can't discover any serial numbérs besides the 8757, if that is usually actually a serial quantity. It can be runs 'Steyr 1896' and all the main metal parts are rubber-stamped '8757'. ![]() I've shot it a couple of times and it can be a great shooter, but I need a few of little parts for the mag and have always been having a lot of difficulty obtaining anything on the internet that even comes close to searching like what I'm looking for. ![]() Am asking yourself if anyone out there has any info about a 6.5 a 55 Swedish Mauser? I have this 6.5 since my Father passed away in 19997. ![]()
