If you want a similar situation to compare it to, VMWare can virtualize macOS with any host, but since they want to maintain a healthy relationship with Apple, this functionality is disabled for anything that isn't a macOS host (and maybe ESXi). ![]() Biting the hand that feeds you is a bad idea. The last thing you want to do as one of the biggest providers of virtualization software in the world is piss off the companies who make the software you are virtualizing. Microsoft does not want you to install it onto anything that does not already have a license for Windows on ARM. ![]() There's a difference between what they can do and what they should do. ![]()
